We have been receiving several inquires as to when our 2008 race schedule will be posted. We have thought about this a lot and have decided to not hold the Fat Tire Duathlon Series in 2008. After 8 years of promoting events, a mutual decision has been made to take some time off and spend some quality time with our family and enjoy riding and racing. This break will allow us to get recharged so that we will be ready to come back better than ever in 2009

Lunatic Fringe Results - Mud Madness |

 Congrat to all who finished today's event. It was a real challenge with the course conditions.
Race Day Timing Solutions will have the result up tomorrow morning.

Update for Lunatic Fringe |
UPDATE FRIDAY 6:00 PM -TRAIL CONDITIONS
I just left Smithville Lake at 6:00 pm. It was beginning to sprinkle....which was the first rain of the day. Yes, it didn't rain or sprinkle until we finished marking the course. The course is rideable at this time. We have routed around the sections that tend to get muddy or slick in wet conditions.
If there is no more than a few sprinkles through the night...the course will be ready for you Saturday a.m.

Hello Everyone:
I wanted to let you know that the Lunatic Fringe Duathlon this Saturday will be RAIN, SNOW or SHINE (I am hoping for the last one). The Smithville trail crew will be out on hand to help us out at this event. They are the ones that make these trails possible.
Friday we will be hard at work on the trails. I will post a trail update on the website at http://www.fattireduathlon.com/ Friday evening. The trails will be ready for all the excitement of the final round of the 2007 series.
There will be COFFEE, MUFFINS AND SOUP to keep us fueled and warm. The bathhouse is open and heated. So you can shower following the race if you like (or need :-)
